Už tuto středu odstartuje cyklistický Závodu míru juniorů (4. – 8. 5). Tentokrát ale prestižní akce oslaví jubileum, když cyklisté do májových etap šlápnou počtyřicáté. Také v letošním roce čeká na juniorské cyklisty náročných pět dní v sedle, během nichž musí zvládnout přes pět set kilometrů a i tentokrát přejedou přes hranice do Německa.
Half of stages for this years anniversary edition of the race were slightly modified. The juniors peloton will commence with the stages, traditionally, at the Litomerices Peace square (Mírové náměstí) on Wednesday the 4th of May at 2:30 pm. A new stage awaits the competitors already on Thursday. For the first time the bunch will start from Lom and they will battle for the stage win in the streets of Litvinov. On Friday the contenders will have to face two challenges. The time trial is scheduled in Trebenice for the morning, while in the afternoon another stage will take place in Roudnice nad Labem. The weekend program will start with another modified stage which will take the riders from Teplice over the border to the German town of Altenberg. Almost exactly a half of this stage will be on the German roads. This year, due to construction works in Sebuzin, the feared climbs to Kamyk and Sebuzin will not be part of the final stage. Nevertheless, this years closing stage will be a equally demanding, taking the peloton from Terezin for four rounds in the area of Ploskovice and Trebusin. Despite the modification of the stages the race finish will be in Terezin again.
Přesně poloviny etap letošního jubilejního ročníku prošla "kosmetickými" úpravami. Juniorský peloton otevře májové etapy tradičně ve středu 4. května v 14:30 hodin na litoměřickém Mírovém náměstí. Nová etapa je pak čeká už ve čtvrtek, kdy se cyklisté o prvenství „porvou“ v cílovém Litvínově, přičemž poprvé odstartují z Lomu. V pátek už tradičně musí absolvovat hned dvě zkoušky. Dopoledne je naplánovaný závod s chronometrem v Třebenicích a odpoledne další etapa v Roudnici nad Labem.
