While in some countries the Covid-19 situation is improving and restrictions are being lifted, in others it remains very serious. Even if, as we hope, the state of affairs keeps improving, organizing an event with a large international participation will be extremely complicated still. Therefore, a decision has been made not to organize the 49th edition of the Course de la Paix Juniors in 2020.

Vzhledem k současně probíhající pandemii covid-19 a v souladu s pokyny UCI se letošní ročník Závodu míru juniorů nebude konat v původně plánovaném termínu. V tuto chvíli, kdy se situace se šířením koronaviru a s tím spojenými změnami UCI kalendáře neustále vyvíjejí, nejsme schopni poskytnout více informací ohledně nového termínu závodu.

Due to the ongoing covid-19 pandemic and in accordance with UCI instructions the 2020 edition of the Junior Peace Race will not be held on the previously announced dates. At the moment, as the situation with both, the coronavirus outbreak and the UCI calendar, is still evolving we are unable to provide more information regarding rescheduling the race.

Terezín – Until the last stage we had only French and Italian stage winners. Today the Danes broke that dominance and Andreas Byskov Sarbo arrived to the finish as first. Hugo Toumire took the yellow jersey in the first stage and kept it for the whole race, including the final podium.

Terezín – Nadvládu vítězství Italů a Francouzů v závěrečné etapě Závodu míru juniorů přerušili Dánové. Poslední etapu v Terezíně jednoznačně vyhrál Andreas Byskov Sarbo. Z celkového prvenství se však radoval francouzský jezdec Hugo Toumire, který letos žlutý trikot nikomu ani na chvilku nepůjčil.

Teplice/Altenberg – What the Italians promised in yesterday's interviews, they delivered today. They showed how strong team they have in this years' Junior Peace Race. the difficult climbs were posed no problems for them. Antonio Tiberi won the stage from Teplice to Altenberg. Nonetheless, he did not manage to close the gap to Toumire of France in the GC.
