Stage Preview
After three days of racing the rider have more than 290 km in their legs. Today we have the final stage, which can still change the GC. The start and finish are in Terezín the home of the organizing club CK Slavoj Terezín. If someone is tempted to think this will be just few more kilometers to ride in celebratory manner, they will have rough awakening. A very challenging stage is planed, although not as difficult as yesterdays. As the locals know, the punchy climbs around Ploskovice can take their toll. There are three loops with a GPM which is not at the final summit, the riders have to keep climbing for a bit more to reach Pohořany after each. There will be a chance to grab the polka dot jersey, perhaps even the yellow. The French rider Hugo Toumire leads the GC by only eight seconds, second is Ballerstedten from Germany and the third Piccolo of Italy is 16 seconds behind.  The Green jersey will be in the mix as well with two intermediate sprints on the course. The start is at 9:00 a.m. and the finish is expected some two and a half hours later, so the overall winner will be know around noon.

Start/finish Town
You cannot miss the history of the town in Terezín. It has been founded as defense fortification in 1780 and this defines the whole town layout. During the WWII the town was turned into Jewish ghetto and concentration camp. These days the Terezín Memorial serves as reminder of those terrible times. There is strong cycling community in Terezín. The local club CK Slavoj Terezín, the organizing club for the Junior Peace Race, is also involved in the organization of various other races as well. Often the national road championships, mainly  in the junior categories, are organized by the club. A traditional cyclocross event, the Pavel Sláddek Memorial, is held on the last day of the year. Last year a museum of the history of competitive cycling as opened in Terezín, in the clubs headquarters, a unique exposition in Czech republic at the display here.
