Cycling fans of all ages – children and adults alike – are warmly invited to join the action, whether at the start line, the finish, or anywhere along the route, to cheer on young athletes from around the world as they pursue victory.

Date: Friday, May 9, 2025 – 9:00 AM
Stage 2a: Individual time trial Třebívlice – Třebívlice
Start: Komenský Square, Třebívlice
Finish: Railway Station, Třebívlice
Race length: 8.8km

Morning Time Trial Start

The second day of the 2025 Junior Peace Race will begin with the traditional individual time trial – another key opportunity for the favorites to influence the overall standings. The time trial will start at Komenského Square in Třebívlice, where riders will head out onto the course at one-minute intervals. The first rider is scheduled to start at 9:00 a.m., with the final competitor expected to finish around 11:45 a.m.

Course Overview

The course is 8.8 kilometers long and runs from Třebívlice toward Děčany, where riders will make a U-turn at the 4.2-kilometer mark and head back through Solany, finishing in Třebívlice near the train station. The flat profile favors powerful riders capable of maintaining high speed throughout the race. A key location for spectators will be Třebívlice itself, hosting both the start and the finish.

Time Trial Finish Line

The finish line of the morning time trial will be located near the train station in Třebívlice, offering fans a unique opportunity to witness the riders crossing the line up close. The direct atmosphere of the race will allow spectators to feel the tension of each finish and watch how real-time results shape the overall leaderboard.

Date: Friday, May 9, 2025 – 4:00 PM
Stage 2b: Road race Roudnice n/L – Terezín
Start: Karlovo Square, Roudnice n/L
Finish: ČSA Square, Terezín
Race length: 58.1km
Sprint: 1x

Afternoon Start in Roudnice nad Labem

The afternoon program on Day 2 will feature a classic road stage. The race is scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m. on Karlovo Square in Roudnice nad Labem. Riders will set off through the picturesque landscape surrounding the town beneath Mount Říp, promising a fast and dynamic stage. With a mostly flat profile, this route is expected to suit the sprinters.

Course Overview

After the start, the peloton will head through Hrobce and Libotenice, then pass through the village of Hrdly at kilometer 15 — a location they’ll return to later in the stage. The route continues to Doksany, reached at around the 19-kilometer mark, and then on through Račiněves, Mšené Lázně, and Budyně nad Ohří.

One of the key moments of the stage will come during the second passage through Doksany, at kilometer 50, where the day’s only intermediate sprint will take place. Riders are expected to contest this sprint — part of the battle for the green jersey - between approximately 5:00 and 5:15 p.m.

After the sprint, the peloton returns to Hrdly and continues to Bohušovice nad Ohří, before heading into the final stretch toward the finish in the historic town of Terezín.

Afternoon Stage Finish

The finish is scheduled between 5:15 and 5:30 p.m. on Československé Armády Square in Terezín, which will host the thrilling conclusion to the second day of racing. Terezín will provide excellent facilities for teams and spectators alike — and a front-row view of an exciting sprint finish that could lead to key shifts in the general classification.
