The final day of the jubilee edition brings a 102.4 km-long stage, starting and finishing in Terezín. Sunday’s finale offers spectators in Terezín and surrounding villages a uniquely dynamic sporting spectacle.

Date: Sunday, May 11, 2025 – 9:00 AM
Stage 4: Road Race Terezín - Terezín
Start: náměstí ČSA, Terezín
Finish: náměstí ČSA, Terezín
Race Distance: 102.4 km
GPM: 4x
Sprint: 2x

Start in Terezín: A traditional cycling hub

The final stage of this year’s Course de la Paix Juniors gets underway at 9:00 a.m. on Čs. Armády Square in Terezín. This historic town remains a cornerstone of the entire race – not only hosting both the start and finish, but also serving as the home of the organizing club CK Slavoj Terezín and the Czech Cycling Museum. From Terezín, the peloton will head toward the village of Hrdly, where the first intermediate sprint is located at kilometer 18. The fastest riders are expected to pass through between 9:25 and 9:30. Just five kilometers later, the second sprint will take place back in Terezín. This early sequence of sprint opportunities could favor ambitious breakaway attempts looking to score valuable points in the green jersey classification.

After the second sprint, the peloton leaves Terezín for good, heading through Litoměřice, Trnovany and Ploskovice toward the first significant ascent of the day – the climb to Chudoslavice, where the first of four identical mountain primes is located.

Chudoslavice x4: A climber’s challenge in the final stage

From the summit in Chudoslavice, the course continues through Třebušín, Dolní Týnec, Býčkovice and back into Ploskovice – forming a loop that will be tackled four times. Each time, the riders will battle for mountain classification points in the same decisive climb to Chudoslavice. The five villages of Ploskovice, Chudoslavice, Třebušín, Dolní Týnec, and Býčkovice will thus become key viewing spots, offering local fans a rare chance to see the world’s best junior cyclists pass by four times. Between 10:00 and 11:30 a.m., the streets of these communities will transform into live arenas of top-level international cycling.

Finish in Terezín: A ceremonial close and final podium

After completing the final lap, the peloton returns to Terezín, with the finish line once again located on Čs. Armády Square. The first finishers are expected between 11:30 and 11:45, and a big screen will be installed on site to bring fans live coverage of the stage’s critical moments. The final award ceremony, including the presentation of jerseys and classification winners, will serve as a fitting conclusion to this prestigious race. For spectators in Terezín, it will be the perfect occasion to bid farewell to the 2025 Course de la Paix Juniors and celebrate the courage, strategy, and spirit shown by these young athletes over four demanding days.
