Přesně sto dvacet jezdců z jednadvaceti zemí odstartuje dnes do 42. ročníku Závodu míru juniorů. Cyklisté tradiční májové etapy otevřou na Mírovém náměstí v Litoměřicích. Loňský vítěz – dánský reprezentant Niklas Eg ale obhajovat žlutý trikot nakonec nebude. Přestože jeho jméno na předběžném seznamu figurovalo, dánská reprezentace přijela v pozměněné šestičlenné sestavě. Kdo se nakonec bude radovat z celkového vítězství, bude známo až po závěrečné nedělní etapě v Terezíně. Celkem na jezdce čeká přes tři sta padesát kilometrů.

Juniorský peloton složený z dvaadvaceti družstev otevře májové etapy ve čtvrtek 2. května v 14:30 hodin na litoměřickém Mírovém náměstí. V pátek dopoledne čeká na závodníky tradiční časovka v Třebenicích. Nová etapa čeká peloton již v pátek odpoledne, odstartuje v 16:00 v Roudnici nad Labem a cyklisté po projetí dvou okruhů v severním i jižním okolí startovního města o prvenství „porvou“ znovu v Roudnici nad Labem. V sobotu musí absolvovat náročnou etapu ze severočeských Teplic přes hranici do německého Zinnwaldu.

The juniors peloton, consisting of twentytwo teams, will open the the race on the 2nd of May at 2:30 pm at the Litomerices Peace square (Mírové náměstí). The traditional time trial in Třebenice awaits the competitors on Friday before noon. A brand new stage is prepared for the peloton already for the Friday afternoon, it will start in Roudnice nad Labem at 4:00 pm and the cyclists will battle for the stage victory after two greater loops at the finish line in Roudnice nad Labem again.

42^nd Course de la Paix Juniors will be held in Terezín from 2^nd to 5^th May 2013.

42. ročník Závodu míru juniorů se bude konat v Terezíně ve dnech 2. až 5. května 2013.

Terezín – Finished! this year 41st edition of the Junior Peace Race is over and the Danish team fulfilled the expectations of being the favorites. Indeed, in the final summary of the times it is two Danish who are the fastest overall, the yellow jersey now belongs to Niklas Eg forever.

Zinnwald/Terezín – The Danish national team showed their power. In the last-but-one stage of the Junior Peace Race they managed to break away from the rest of the peloton and in the finish of the queen stage in the German town of Zinnwald they celebrated a double win and gained the yellow jersey.

Terezín – Dobojováno! Letošní 41. ročník Závodu míru juniorů je minulostí a dánští reprezentanti při něm potvrdili předchozí role papírových favoritů. V celkovém součtu časů byli právě dva seveřani absolutně nejrychlejšími, když žlutý trikot lídra bude navždy patřit Niklasi Egovi.

Zinnwald/Terezín – Dánští reprezentanti opět ukázali svoji sílu. Při předposlední královské etapě juniorského Závodu míru se dokázali odpoutat od zbytku startovního pole a v cíli v německém Zinnwaldu slavili vítězný double a také žlutý trikot.

Roudnice nad Labem - The peloton of the Junior Peace race had to tackle two stages on Friday. And both had in common the name Schmidt, but it was a different rider each time. While before noon in the time trial won the Dane Mads, in the afternoon road race it was Norwegian Petter. However the former, Mads, is enjoying the yellow jersey which he stripped of the winner of the first stage, from the Frenchman Kowalski.
